This week Anetta N., editor of Hamptons Magazine, tells us her version of containment.
Mother of two boys and married to a Frenchman, Anetta spent her confinement with her family in their home in the Hamptons, a charming seaside region near New York. She tells us that this confinement was mainly an opportunity for her to take a break and spend time at home with her family.
Accustomed to a fast-paced lifestyle and regular travel, staying at home for three months was a challenge for Anetta. It was a confinement that disrupted her professional and personal life, but which she was able to accept with a great deal of serenity in order to better apprehend the future. Anetta took the opportunity to do a lot of sport, including rowing and taking some online fitness classes.
This retreat to the Hamptons, known for its farming community, allowed her to rediscover the joy of cooking. Anetta and her family were able to enjoy fresh produce straight from nearby farms and butchers. A diet enriched by a few food supplements to help her sleep better.
